Sarah Martin is a travel enthusiast who is currently a graduate student at Duke University in North Carolina. Sarah hopes to one day start her own beverage company that sells a variety of drinks inspired by her travels around the globe. Sarah has visited numerous countries including Nicaragua, Ireland, and Malawi. During her travels, Sarah enjoys trying new beverages that give her a true taste of culture.
In order to bring her idea to life, Sarah needed additional branding expertise. I began this project by generating a list of potential names for her company. Traveling Glass was the name Sarah selected because it captured her sense of class, quality, and adventurous spirit. Next, I created several logo options. The final logo features the san-serif typeface, Century Gothic, which helps bring clarity and simplicity to the logo. Also, the logo features a glass constructed from the company’s initials (TG).
Not only did I create the logo for Traveling Glass, but I also helped make several packaging and distribution elements. Specifically, I made sticker labels for the glass bottles, a four-pack container, and the imagery for a vending machine.
In the end, I was very pleased with the brand identity I created for Traveling Glass. In fact, this is one of my favorite projects to date and reflects the kind of design I hope to create more of someday.
